Sweden is a large country
and it has various climates. Its northern side has many beautiful natural
and rich wild life and its southern side is highly populated but still
with well-preserved heritage culture.

If you happen to visit Sweden in the winter you must visit the Ice Hotel
in Northern Sweden. This hotel is made of ice and snow and it is considered
the largest and original ice hotel in the world. Everything in it from
its decors and the hotel itself are made from blocks of ice. The hotel
has an Ice Bar and Ice Church. Most tourists love the different art ice
work around the hotel.
2. The next place to visit
is Stockholm - the capital city.
It is good to visit it during the summer. This place is fabulous due to
its many waterways, parks and green spaces. The Wasa museum is located
here and so are scenic spots such as the Nordic museum, the Grona Lund
which is an amusement park, Drottingholm Palace, Gripsholm Castle, Lake
Malaren and Stockholm Archipelago. The Skansen museum, which is the world's
oldest open-air museum, is found here. You should not miss the Gamla Stan
or the Old city and the Royal Palace when you are visiting Stockholm.
3. Uppsala
is located north of Sweden and is famous for its modern universities. You
can also see the Uppsala Cathedral, the Old Temple of Uppsala, Uppsala
Castle and archeological remnants of the Vikings in this place. It is a
small city that has a mixed of modern technology and history of Sweden
that have been well-preserved.
4. Swedish Lapland (Sweden,
Norway and Finland) is regarded as one of the most beautiful places to
visit in Sweden. This is the area of the land of the midnight sun (Aurora
Borealis) and northern lights. Tourists who visit this place consider seeing
these natural wonders as one of the best experiences of their lives.
5. Gothenburg
is Sweden's second biggest city, located on its west coast. Local attractions
here include the Liseberg amusement park which also serves as venues for
musical entertainment, the Slottsskogen or the 'castle forest' where you
can visit the Barnens Zoo, the Natural History Museum and a family animal
park which is also the oldest observatory in the city. There is also the
Botanical Garden, the Archipelago of Southern Gothenburg and the Avenyn
or 'Avenue', which is a shopping heaven for tourists.
Sweden is such an exciting
place to go for a vacation. The country has a lot to offer in terms of
culture, adventure, entertainment and arts. The idea is to enjoy Sweden
and its scenic spots in the good months when travel is convenient. Then
it wouldn't really matter as Sweden is still a beautiful place to visit
regardless of the season. Travelling to Sweden by coach would be worth
the experience and fun and you won't have any regrets about it. |
